Prayer Widget is built with the highest respect for your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data with any external server. All information the app uses stays on your device only.

Data the App Uses

📍 Location Data

If you choose "Use Current Location", the app requests location access from iOS to calculate accurate prayer times for your city. This data:

• Is used locally on your device only to calculate prayer times.
• Is never sent to any external server.
• Is stored in app settings on your device (in a shared App Group between the app and widget).
• You can revoke permission at any time from iOS Settings.

🏙️ City Name

When you manually enter a city name, the app uses Apple's MapKit service to convert the name to coordinates. This process is subject to Apple's privacy policy.

🖼️ Custom Widget Images

If you choose to upload a custom widget background image, the image is saved locally on your device only (inside the App Group). No image is uploaded to any server.

⚙️ Appearance & Language Settings

Your choices for colors, fonts, language, and text size are saved locally in the app's UserDefaults.

What We DON'T Collect

• ❌ No personal identifiers (name, email, phone number).
• ❌ No analytics or tracking tools.
• ❌ No advertising services.
• ❌ No device information or usage activity.
• ❌ No data shared with third parties.

System Permissions Used

• Location (When In Use): Optional - only to calculate prayer times for your current location.
• Photos (PhotosPicker): Uses Apple's standard photo picker, which doesn't require full photo library access.

Deleting Your Data

Since all data is local to your device, you can delete all your data by simply:

• Deleting the app from your device.
• Or going to iOS Settings > Prayer Widget > Revoke permissions.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and doesn't collect any information from users, including children under 13.
